“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?”

That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was—unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.

Everything was going great—until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

Top 10 Tuesday: Unread Books From My Favorite Authors

TOPTENTUESDAY

This is a weekly meme that was created by The Broke and the Bookish, but is now being hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! Each week brings a different theme and you choose ten books that fit that theme. If you’d like to particiapte you can check out upcoming topics here.

Okay peeps, this weeks topic was kind of challenging for me because ya girl is a mood reader, thus her favorites depend on her mood. So you can kind of see how pick favorite authors can be an uphill battle right? But alas, I tried to garner a favorite from every genre that I usually read and then choose a book that I haven’t read from them (which was also a feat because I’ve been known to be an author binger).

But in any case! Here are 10 Books in absolutely no particular order or fashion that I have not read from my favorite authors! Continue reading “Top 10 Tuesday: Unread Books From My Favorite Authors”

“Blake and I weren’t always together. But, to be fair, we weren’t always not together either.

It began innocently. We were friends, nothing more.

Then two years ago, everything changed.

I noticed his stares. He noticed mine.

We weren’t just friends anymore—we were a whole hell of a lot more than that.

And that’s how we remained, blissfully in love and ready to conquer anything that stood in our way.

Except for ourselves” — Goodreads Synopsis

REVIEW

Oh my goodness.

I completely fell head over heels in love with Nate and Blake. Having not read We Are The Stars yet but being a lover of Teagan Hunter from her other novels, I was super intrigued when every one of my friends began jumping up and down exclaiming that they were finally getting the “boyfriends” story. So, in Sam like fashion, I just had to read it.

Oh boy did I read it.

I devoured this story in one sitting and then when I was done, I went back to read my favorite scenes again. This story is so much more than just the beginning of a couples journey together but a story of two hearts finding themselves and ultimately each other again. I loved every scene and every emotion that Teagan poured into this novella; from the swoon worthy moments, to the giggling fest, and all the way to the heartbreaking-emotion filled moments that had me wishing I could jump in and give them a hug.

Nate and Blake’s story is so much more than a rom-com, but rather their story, I believe is a true reflection of what falling in love is really like.
